Jacob The Sleepy

Jacob Lucas is an Amsterdam based music producer specialized in producing his own blend of Jazzy Hiphop and Neo Soul.

Earning his stripes in the Dutch Hiphop scene as part of the Ravenbros. production collective, Lucas’ early production credits include albums like M.O & Brakko’s ‘Koester’, Mizztamizzo’s ‘November’ and the Ravennest compilation.
Dret&Krulle’s song ‘Verder’ received airplay on Dutch national television and radio.

More recent works include various independently released beattapes, albums with longtime colaborator Mizztamizzo, music for film and tv, and various projects with Dutch/Turkish singer Karsu. Karsu’s self titled album was fully produced by Lucas and received national airplay in both The Netherlands and Turkey.
